The Apostille in Morocco
The Apostille is a document attached to a public document intended for use abroad. It is mandatory for any Moroccan document to be submitted in a country that has signed the Hague Convention.
What is its purpose?
It certifies the authenticity of the signature or stamp of the signing authority, not the content of the document itself.
Where can it be obtained?
At any court of first instance across the Kingdom, from Tangier to Dakhla.
When do you need it?
When the document is intended for a country that signed the Convention (most of Europe and North America). For non-signatory countries, diplomatic legalization is used instead.
